Re-integration
Program
"The
Re-integration Program, established in 1999, assists ex-offenders
who are released from a provincial correctional institutions
to successfully re-integrate into the community.The
program actively works to divert potentially homeless persons
from the emergency shelter system."

Certification

Ontario Multifaith Council (OMC)
has the responsibility to ensure that candidates for positions
as Spiritual and Religious Care Providers (Chaplains) have
sufficient knowledge and experience to provide and coordinate
spiritual care and religious services in a multifaith setting.A
certification process has been developed to enable candidates
to demonstrate their knowledge of multifaith issues and their
ability in working with persons from diverse faith backgrounds."
